Ryan is a Founder, CEO, and Developer with 25 years of experience building developer communities and startups. He has founded and scaled three successful companies including DropSend (acquired 2008), Carsonified (acquired 2011), and Treehouse, which raised $23 million in venture capital, scaled to over 100 employees, and educated over 1 million students before being acquired in 2021. Ryan was voted Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 and lives in Essex, Connecticut with his family.

Linda Douglas
Chief Legal Officer
Linda is a Divorce and Family Attorney with 38 years of experience handling nearly 2,000 cases in Connecticut and New Hampshire. Throughout her career, she witnessed the emotional and financial toll of divorce and adopted the guiding principle, "This is a problem to be solved, not a battle to be won." Linda believes that with proper understanding and guidance, divorce need not be the worst experience of one's life. She is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and New Hampshire.
Why we started Untangle
My name is Ryan, and the inspiration for Untangle is deeply personal. I have three wonderful sisters, and we're the best of friends. Recently, I stood by as two of my sisters went through incredibly painful and expensive divorces.
Witnessing their struggles, the needless frustration, and the financial strain of spending tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees on top of immense emotional pain affected me deeply.
With two decades of experience building technology companies and a strong belief in the power of AI to simplify complex challenges, I launched Untangle with a clear mission: make the divorce process more humane, less costly, and far less overwhelming for Connecticut families.
My family and I live right here in Essex, Connecticut, and we've built Untangle specifically to help people through divorce in Connecticut with guidance that feels local, practical, and personal.
